National Mosque (Masjid Negara):
The Masjid Negara is unique in that it incorporates Malay-Islamic rather than the usual Arabic-Islamic architecture. It is known for its conspicuous turquoise umbrella-like roof. Visitors are asked to dress modestly--robes for those in shorts and head scarves for women will be provided.
